Renowned for his 'Kingswingers'
in W. Anglia, and also as a saxophone teacher. A superb player
himself on clarinet, alto, tenor and baritone sax, he toured the
American bases with house bands, appearing with Kenny Baker, Lenny Peters,
Betty Smith, and even Stan Kenton and Count Basie. Well known for
his recent appearances in local jazz clubs.
